OAKLAND TOWNHAWKS BASKETBALL plays in a league that puts the game above multi-million-dollar contracts. The American Basketball Association (ABA), is widely recognized as a bridge between college basketball and the National Basketball Association® (NBA), has players motivated to improve their athletic skills, provide an entertaining show, and to bring a championship home to the loyal fans of Oakland, California.
Our mission is to provide a high level of sports & entertainment for Oakland and the surrounding communities. We will become the marquee professional team for Oakland after the Golden State Warriors exit from the city of Oakland.
We are committed to representing the city of Oakland properly while playing basketball games and helping our fellow citizens through community service. Our off the court continued goal is to enrich the lives of members in our Oakland community and our athletes by providing life development skills, inspiration, and opportunities to further their education and professional careers through the game of basketball.
